Challenge
Creating AgriVET required designing a mobile application that accommodates multiple user roles, presents diverse educational and employment content, and remains intuitive and accessible across devices.
Several challenges were identified at the start of the project:
Solution
Webintelligence built a cross-platform mobile app with React Native and Laravel, delivering role-specific flows, structured content, and an intuitive interface for scalable, accessible education and career resources.
Here’s how we approached each problem:
Multiple user roles
The application needed to support learners, agricultural professionals, and employers, each with distinct objectives, workflows, and content needs within the same platform.
Role-specific UX flows
User journeys were designed individually for each role, ensuring relevant content, features, and actions are immediately accessible through a clear and intuitive experience.
Diverse content and features
AgriVET integrates a wide range of content, including educational programs, digital libraries, glossaries, job listings, events, and training resources.
Modular content architecture
Features were organized into structured modules such as AgroLibrary, AgroGlossary, AgroSkills, and AgroJobs, enabling easy navigation and future feature expansion.
Accessibility for all users
The platform needed to be usable by people with varying levels of digital literacy and professional experience.
Inclusive UX-UI design
A clean, consistent design system was implemented to ensure clarity, readability, and ease of use across age groups and technical backgrounds.
Cross-platform performance
The application was required to deliver smooth, reliable performance on both Android and iOS devices.
React Native frontend with Laravel backend
React Native enables native-like cross-platform performance, while Laravel provides a robust, scalable backend for efficient data management.
Scalability and maintainability
The system needed to support ongoing content growth, updates, and the addition of new features over time.
Modular application architecture
Frontend and backend components were designed for flexibility, allowing new tools and content to be added without major structural changes.
Outcome
A mission-driven mobile app connecting agricultural education, employment, and professional development.
UX-UI designed for multiple user roles, improving clarity and accessibility.
Unified access to learning programs, libraries, glossaries, jobs, and events.
Cross-platform deployment (Android and iOS) with smooth performance.
Scalable architecture supporting future content updates and feature expansion.
